Frank, never received treatment even remotely like this from the police, the detectives, or the prosecutor’s office.” According to the Atlanta Georgian newspaper, on the 29th April 1913, Frank was given the third degree and was sweated by the police during interrogation. Newt Lee was also subject to this horrible situation, but it happened to Frank too.
